Yesteryear Collection

The TC Midget was a successor to a long line of pre-war MG Sports cars, many of which were employed by the Liverpool City Police for traffic patrol duties. Noted for its brisk performance and good road manners, the car was found to be ideal for police work.

The car is typical of pre-war police vehicles, the drivers of which were required to wash the car each day, spend four hours per week on servicing and drive with the hood down, regardless of weather conditions.
